Introducing something new for winter 2023: our Landscapes Collection yarn! This 60% Merino, 40% Corriedale wool is bouncy, soft and a fantastic canvas for sweaters, accessories and gifts.
The soft colors of this palette have been inspired by Saratoga Springs artist Eden Compton—a painting that Mary Jeanne recently purchased has been translated into four dyed colorways for this collection. Dyed on 3-ply, sport-weight wool, sourced domestically and spun right here at Battenkill Fibers.
10% of the profit of the Landscape Collection yarn goes to the Agricultural Stewardship Association, which helps landowners conserve farm and forest land in Washington and Rensselaer counties. This is the same part of the Hudson Valley that Battenkill Fiber Mill calls home. The ASA Is a non-profit, accredited land trust that has been in operation since 1990.
