It knits up at 15.5 stitch / 21.5 row gauge on 6mm needles.
Two ply Aran weight yarn (about 800 yd/lb) – also known as Aran Tweedish made from Corriedale, Merino, and Romney wool from local farms. This soft and lofty yarn would make a beautiful sweater, shawl, or scarf in any one of several natural colors. The lighter colors also dye up beautifully. Skeins are around 185yds/100g skein.
